In preparing for my husband’s surgery we have been constantly on the go … to see the surgeons, the cardiologist, the orthopedic center, the scans, x-rays, blood work, and pre-hospital admissions work-up. I haven’t had time to post each day but wanted to take time today as the gifts that we are to find are three gifts found in community.
1. I thank God for neighbors who have been so supportive – putting themselves out to meet our need – be it transportation – waiting with us through tests – or providing food. For dear neighbors, we thank you God!
2. Internet friends – What thoughtful, caring folks are out there. I love you and thank you for all the prayers, emails and contacts. May God bless each of you!
3. Family – It is times like these we really need and appreciate family, those from the church family and our children, grands and siblings.
Thank you Father, for these gifts found in community.
Help your kids to see God at work in their lives!
When kids hear what God did in the Bible, they often wonder: Is God still doing stuff today? Help your kids discover God is still powerful…still loving…and still working in the world!
God Sightings help kids realize that God is with us every single day. With God Sightings, you’ll build the Christian faith of your elementary kids…your adult volunteers…even your preschoolers. They’ll all marvel at how God is at work around them–and in them!
During Sky High kids will get a “Watch for God Wristband” to wear all week–and beyond! These wristbands are a reminder to watch for God in action.
Here is a page you may print, cut and assemble if you care to.

I DO NOT HAVE A LESSON FOR DAY 4 – “Jesus dies and comes back to life”.
I think each teacher may choose to present in their own way. So, will go on to Day 5 after this lesson.
