About

I am getting on in years, most are younger and therefore referred to as “children or child”, (no disrespect intended). I was also fat until I began using sparkpeople and now, thank God, I am just pleasingly plump.

Other than my age, which is always a warning in itself, I did not know I was in imminent danger of death. I had a heart attack, went to doctor and while in his office began another one, resulting in a trip to hospital via the rescue squad, tests, xrays, trip to another hospital via ambulance and by-pass surgery by a wonderful cardiac team headed by Dr. Katz of the Bon Secour Hospitals in Richmond. It has been a lonnnng recovery, of which I am still involved but, still alive, thanks to my dear Lord!

What I now know:

I know the end comes fast, there is no time for negotiating with God, so, one best be right.

I know only God and loved ones mean anything at the end. Believe me, I did not think of IRAs, houses or “things” in those fleeting minutes.

I know to encourage others and help where I can each day and not say “I will do it tomorrow” because tomorrow may not come.

I know to appreciate the day – sunrise, birds, flowers, rain, a tender touch, a kind word, great food, lovely music and beautiful art … to again have that child-like wonder and ask “how and why”.

I know it is useless to worry. Hey, worry is what got me in that mess.

I will be posting inspirational items which will be found in “Vespers”, some signature tags, screensavers, calendars, scrap sheets for non-digital crafters and various and sundry other things. All will be available for you to use if you choose, just right click and copy. I will only use material I am allowed to use.

I do thank you for visiting and hope you find something that will encourage and uplift in these difficult times. Just remember, God loves you!

    TAGS [EDIT]: None

If I snag a blank tag from this room,
is it alright to put my name on the tag? As long as none of the credits are changed.
The reason I ask is this. There is a woman who keeps stalking me telling owners of rooms I take tag(essentially calling me a thief).
I will not say her name. Also if a blank tag is put on the internet, can we not snag that tag? I am getting tired of being accused by her of all these wrong doings she says I do.
She is now sending out e-mails to the rooms I am a member of and telling the owners to watch out for me. She is always checking up on me. I never had any cross words with her
or even really talked to her, I have no idea why she does this?
All this is making me sick and paranoid.

    • Yes, certainly, names may be added to tags, forum sets or banners and headers.

If the copyright emblem and artist name on a tag is not removed then you have done nothing wrong.
I put the name and site url of scrappers as well. It takes a lot of time to make graphics so
that is a courtesy to them. Some have that requirement, others don’t.

Again, if a tag has no name on it and is free to use you have done nothing
wrong and may certainly add your name.

I am sorry someone is taking the fun out of your surfing for signature tags. I love
      doing that too.

  4. Your graphics are absolutely beautiful and I love tagging. May I please use your graphics by snagging my name to them to share with others…of course with no removal of copyrights?
Life is too short to spend it being negative and I’ve had a tough life myself but over the years the experiences of life have become my greatest teachers! Thank you for sharing a part of your life and awesome talent with us! Good luck and God bless.

Would any of your banners be available in larger pixels. I would love to get a banner made of Love Bears All Things but not enough pixels to enlarge. Do you know where I could find the original. God Bless

    • Check out the “Banners and Header” area, they are made to fit Facebook, etc., however the forum sets are a little smaller.

I made the Love bears all things tag larger. If you will send me your email addy I will send it to you. ammey9 at yahoo.com (change the word at to sign).
