Signature Tags – Winter
With all this snow and winter weather my husband and I have a lot of inside time, as I am sure most of you have too. It has been really fun, we have had the teas, popcorn and cocoa and things you eat when there is no power or it is limited.
Of course we have discovered leaks in the roof from all the falling weather and have had to keep faucets dripping so it has not been all “fun”.
We have slept the mornings away and talked into the wee hours … recalling memories of times past. It gave me an idea for this post. I found some old winter paintings and animated them with snow. I hope you like them and can use them. Just click to make sure each is animated then, right click and save to your computer.
And, if you are so disgusted with snow that you don’t ever want to see it again, save them for summertime. lol

Wailing and howling all through the night;
Wind clutching house corners, and holding on tight.
Amidst all that clamor, the snowflakes fall deep,
Covering fields and woodlands while we’re all asleep.
Morning time finds us in a world all of white,
Not a sound anywhere, all is peaceful and quiet.
Come sit by the fire, pull up a chair and have some tea.
We’ll talk of years past, what has happened with you and me.
The happy times, the sad times, the good and the bad,
The joys and the sorrows, then we’ll talk of our tomorrows.
So, bring on the wind, bring on the wild weather.
As long as there is us, we will always be together.

Praise ye the Lord!
He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow,
and the waters flow. Psalms 147:16-18 KJV
Please remember the homeless and animals during these icy days and nights.
